Known issues and safety
Recall check: we searched GOV.UK product safety alerts, reports and recalls (Office for Product Safety and Standards) for “gooloo” on 19 October 2026 and found two reports. One covers a GOOLOO wall charger. The other covers a GOOLOO/VTOMAN jump starter power bank sold via Amazon, models JS-378B and X7 VTOMAN, which the report says failed UK machinery and plug rules and was destroyed at the border [2][3]. Neither names the GT1500, but check your unit’s model number against both reports.
GOOLOO’s manual says to keep the unit over 50% charged before starting a car, to charge it if it has not been used for over two months, and not to store it in a hot parked car for long periods [1]. Follow the instructions supplied.
