Trusted Products is a research site for UK shoppers. We bring together what manufacturers say, what owners report and what official sources tell us about everyday products, so you can decide with the facts in front of you.
What we do
For each product or topic we gather the manufacturer’s specifications, check official safety information, read published owner feedback and set it out in plain English, with the sources and the date we last checked. We separate what a manufacturer claims, what owners report and what we think it adds up to.
You can read the full method on our How we research page.
What we don’t do
Most of our pages are desk research, and we never claim to have used a product unless we have. A small number are reviewed in person and are marked as such. We don’t sell reviews, rankings, badges or awards, and we don’t accept payment from manufacturers or retailers for coverage. Our Editorial policy explains these rules.
How the site began
Trusted Products started in 2015 as a motoring site, run by a group of friends who shared a passion for cars, and traded as Trusted Car Products until January 2025. It now covers a wider range of everyday products, with motoring still at its heart. Reviews published before March 2022 were written by the previous owners and are marked as archive reviews.
How the site is funded
The site may earn a commission if you buy a product through some links. That never affects what we write. Details are on our Affiliate disclosure page.
Who runs it
Trusted Products is a trading name of NetOnTarget Limited, a company registered in England, company number 07147307. Registered office: 4a Upper Hall Close, Redditch, B98 0AL.
