Known issues and safety
Tech Advisor’s cons were limited viewing angles with washed-out colour off-centre, low brightness for HDR, a short warranty, an interface that can lag, and ads on the Fire TV home screen [1].
Recall check: we searched GOV.UK product safety alerts, reports and recalls (Office for Product Safety and Standards) for “fire tv” on 19 October 2026. The first page of results showed no Amazon television [2]. We could not check the other pages of results, so check the list again for the exact model.
