Known issues and safety
Recall check: we searched GOV.UK product safety alerts, reports and recalls (Office for Product Safety and Standards) for “Terratek” and “cordless drill” on 18 October 2026. No notice names Terratek [3]. The wider search did return safety reports for other budget cordless drills sold online, so check that the kit has the UKCA marking. B&Q’s listing says this product is UKCA marked [2].
The seller description says the drill is “not intended for masonry or brick drilling” [1]. We did not find a manual, so we cannot summarise the manufacturer’s safety instructions.

The seller says not. It lists a maximum capacity of 20 mm in wood and 8 mm in steel and says the drill is not intended for masonry or brick [1][2].
Does it have a hammer function?
Neither listing mentions a hammer mode. B&Q describes the action as “drill and screwdriver” [2].
How many batteries come in the box?
It depends on the listing. Futura Direct lists one battery and B&Q’s title lists two [1][2]. Check the product page for your seller.

Futura Direct says 3 to 5 hours [1].
What is the guarantee?
