The two sellers’ numbers differ, so check the listing for the colour and seller you are buying from. A mattress must fit inside the frame, so measure it before ordering.

Known issues and safety
Recall check: we searched GOV.UK product safety alerts, reports and recalls (Office for Product Safety and Standards) for “Yaheetech” and “bed frame upholstered” on 18 October 2026. We found no notice for a Yaheetech bed frame [3]. Notices do exist for other Yaheetech products, including recliner armchairs (November 2025), and a barrel-shaped chair and a velvet convertible sofa bed (May 2026). They are for different products, so check the exact item you are buying.
We did not find a manual to read, so we cannot summarise Yaheetech’s assembly or safety instructions. Beds that need assembly are easier with a second person, because the headboard is large.
Questions people ask
Do I need a box spring or a base?
The sellers say you do not. The mattress sits directly on the 10 wooden slats [1][2].
What is the weight limit?
Both sellers’ listings state 360 kg [1][2]. That is the seller’s figure. We have not seen a test certificate.
Is the headboard height adjustable?
Yes, the listings give two settings: 106 cm and 116 cm [1][2].
Does it have storage underneath?
It has a ground clearance of 15.5 cm [1]. That is room for cleaning, not for storage boxes.
How long is the guarantee?
It depends on the seller: B&Q lists one month and Robert Dyas lists one year [1][2]. Ask the seller before buying.
Alternatives
- Other 5ft upholstered frames from high-street sellers: Compare the stated weight limit, slat count and guarantee, and ask for the UK size in millimetres.
- A divan or ottoman bed: Provides storage underneath, which this frame does not.
Our verdict
Based on the evidence, this suits people who want an upholstered low frame with an adjustable headboard and no need for a box spring. Look elsewhere if you need under-bed storage, or a guarantee longer than the one the seller offers. This is a research summary, not a test result.
