What is it:

The 'new'Meguiars range based on their vintage formulas and design brings the Detailing Spray to the table. Meguiars themselves describe it as follows;

Mirror Bright™ Detailing Spray gently cleans both exterior AND interior automobile surfaces & finishes. Excellent for removing bird soiling, grime & other contaminants from paint finishes in-between washing and for keeping automobile interiors clean & tidy, including instruments, gauges & screens!

How we tested it:

We purchased a bottle of Detailing Spray after being drawn in by the stylish packaging and put it to the test over an extensive range of tasks over a four week period. We tested on both interior and exterior surfaces and looked for the ease of use, cleaning properties, gloss enhancement properties and general range of use.

We Liked:

• Great design, stylish packaging and large bottles make for both a good value and nice addition to your workshop or garage shelf.
• Smells absolutely incredible. A real joy to use.
• Cleans well for a quick detailer, we found it very useful for door shuts and for deep cleaning alloy wheel dishes.
• Lovely deep lustre left by the product, definite noticeable improvement in gloss.

We Didn't Like:

• A little tacky/grabby and can leave a little smearing on darker colours because of this.
• Avoid contact with glass as can be quite smeary.
• Price seems to vary largely.

Overall:

Very impressive first test for the Mirror Bright range and we certainly look forward to trying more from the new range. We really enjoyed using Detailing Spray due to its multitude of uses and the gorgeous smell which is also nice to mist interiors with on completion for that first impression. It's certainly a product we would recommend for the home user certainly and the stylish design will appeal to many, particularly those who have a retro look to their workshops. Great product.
