Why the capacity needs checking

Our earlier page called this a 10 kg machine, and the retailer above lists it as 10 kg [1]. A different retailer’s page for a Haier I-Pro Series 3 with the code HW90-B14939 is marked discontinued [2]. Our searches also showed other listings giving 9 kg for that code, but we could not open them, so we cannot confirm which capacity applies to which model. Before you buy, get the exact model code and check the capacity on the energy label and in the manual. Bosch’s buying guide suggests 6 or 7 kg for one or two people and 8 or 9 kg for three or four, so the difference between 9 kg and 10 kg matters mainly for larger households [4].

Known issues and safety

Recall check: we searched GOV.UK product safety alerts, reports and recalls (Office for Product Safety and Standards) for “haier washing machine” on 19 October 2026. The results included Haier heat pump tumble dryer entries, which are dryers, and folding washing machines from other makers. We found no Haier washing machine notice [3]. Check the list again for the exact model before you buy.

We did not find a manual we could cite, so we cannot summarise the maker’s safety instructions. Follow the instructions supplied with the machine.
