What is it:

Taken from the Autobrite Direct website; Our brand new Super concentrated snow foam with a dilution rate of up to 200-1 with great cleaning ability. Autobrite SuperFoam has been specially formulated by Autobrite Direct. It is super a concentrated pH Neutral product and provides a thick mouse style foam that breaks down dirt. A super thick high foam,neutral cleaner containing a blend of detergents,wetting agents,foamers and sequestering agents for the removal of traffic film,grease,insects and dirt from all car & commercial vehicles.

How we Tested it:

We acquired a 25L drum of Superfoam approximately 6 months ago due to the good face value that it offered on purchase. We have over the course of many vehicles observed the dwell times, cleaning ability and effectiveness as a pre wash.

We Liked:

• Foams well and clings well to vehicles.
• Smells fantastic, one of the best smelling snowfoams we have used to date.
• Represents good value with its potential low dilution rates for use.
• PH Neutral product makes it a wax and coating friendly pre wash.

We Didn't like:

• Lacks bite. Not overly effective at its primary function, to remove heavier soiling and softencleanse as a pre wash.
• We found that although claims of 200-1 dilution are made, realistically this would only be effective on very well protected vehicles.
• Very thick formula can be messy on dispensing.

Overall:

A lot of people will claim that snow foam is a gimmick. We personally consider snowfoam a very essential part of the safe cleaning process to soften and remove the worst soiling prior to hand washing and as such minimising risk of swirl marks and marring. Unfortunately and we never enjoy writing as such, Superfoam falls somewhat flat against rivals and not to the standard we were expecting.

It has the smell and look of a premium pre wash but when it came down to it, simply didn't offer anywhere near the cleaning power of rivals and the effectiveness as a pre wash we were hoping for. A shame when the brands Magifoam carries such a high reputation, a product soon on trial with us. This isn't a product we would be rushing to restock at the studio.
