What is it:

Glacier is a PH Neutral wax safe snowfoam will help to drag and breakdown grime from bodywork. Glacier is formulated to cling to the bodywork so that it can start to lift the dirt. Then after a couple of minutes will start to fall from the bodywork taking the dirt with it. Glacier is a PH Neutral snowfoam. Making it completly safe on all surfaces. Dilutable 10:1 but with stronger pressure washers even less can be used.

How we Tested it:

We have kindly been provided with 500ml of Glacier snow foam by Bear Car Care. We tested the product at various dilutions on a mixture of both protected and unprotected vehicles to observe a range of effectiveness. We looked at cleaning ability, effectiveness as a pre wash and the overall place for the product.

We Liked:

• Nice balance between dwell time and slowly sliding from the vehicle to remove heavier soiling.
• Economical in its usage. Can be used at 10:1 for general use and more economical if required and if pressure washer allows.
• Coating safe allowing for an effective maintenance pre wash.
• Smells great and a very pleasant to use product.

We Didn't like:

• Whilst not a weak cleaner, we have found some rivals offer a little more punch in terms of cleaning power.
• Would benefit from larger quantities.

Overall:

Glacier is a competent and highly recommendable snow foam which blends a nice economical, pleasant to use formula with ph balanced pre wash. We have found stronger rivals that offer more outright cleaning power but that isn't to say that Glacier doesn't offer an effective pre wash. It definitely softened soiling and removed heavier soiling but we feel the product is more at home as a maintenance snow foam for use on protected vehicles. Overall a good value pre wash that will find many fans as an overall package.
