What We Say

What is it?

Krystal Kleen Detail themselves describe the product as a premium high powered and highly concentrated foam wash which gives the cleaning power of alkaline cleaners but at a neutral pH. Safe on all exterior surfaces.

We have had this developed specifically for us after trying various other brands and not being entirely satisfied with what was available.

How we Tested it?

We first picked up Blizzard at Waxstock detailing festival and bought 5 litres due to a fantastic show promotion. We have used it on hundreds of vehicles since ranging from lightly soiled well protected paintwork to heavily soiled 4x4 vehicles and vehicles which have high amounts of algae and soiling present.

We Liked:

• Terrific dilution rates with just 50ml in a snow foam lance topped up to a litre with water being sufficient to coat multiple vehicles.
• Amazing smell, subtle peppermint that lasts throughout the process and makes it a real pleasure to use.
• Applies a nice thick coating but that also advances down the bodywork nicely taking the worst of the soiling with it and softening the rest.
• Incredible value. 5 Litres of the product can be had for £17.99.

We Didn't like:

• Arguably the packaging is a little basic and to some may not give the impression of a premium brand.

Overall:

Is this the perfect product? It certainly isn't far off. Performs strongly, smells fantastic and can be had in huge quantities with change from a £20 note. We also love the great customer service the team at KKD give with the product often delivered the next day. An ever present in our detailing kit and we don't see that changing. Well done KKD, Blizzard is a fantastic product and all that is left for us to do is try the other scents!
