What is it?

A deep pile Australian and New Zealand wool wash mitt from the team at Wowo. Designed to be used in the initial wash stage and offer paintwork safe cleaning.

How we tested it?

We were kindly sent a mitt to trial by Wowo and have proceeded to use the mitt on a variety of vehicles with various levels of soiling and around both awkward intricate areas and larger flat panels. We largely observed the absorbancy and safety of the mit, the ease of use and the value it offers.

We Liked:

• High quality feel to the mitt, the mitt feels well put together and that it will last the test of time.
• The mitt soaks up a huge amount of water and feels slick and safe across the paintwork surface.
• Mesh drying bag is great for storage post usage.
• The mitt 'recovers'well after each use, returning to its original shape and feel unlike some cheaper mitts that suffer from deterioration even after a couple of uses.

We Didn't Like:

• We have little hands, but even on our hands, the thumb area of the mitt feels huge and 'floppy'.
• Quite expensive for a mitt, though the real test here will be durability of the mitt quality.

Overall

We love a big soft lambswool mitt, we want it to feel like you are washing your car with the neighbours cat. The Wowo Mitt provides this and well. The absorbancy of the mitt is very impressive and it feels quality both in its use and in build. We love having the option to store the product in a Wowo mesh bag as per with their products and get the feeling we will still be doing so for months to come. We found it a little awkward on tighter areas but this is a great option if you are serious about paint safe car care, although it may be slightly overpriced.
