1.1 The Trusted Products Approved Product Scheme ("the Scheme") requires a monthly subscription of £19.99 payable by direct debit.
1.2 Payment is due on the same date each month from the date of initial subscription.
1.3 Subscription fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
1.4 Trusted Products reserves the right to adjust subscription fees with 30 days' written notice to subscribers.
1.5 Failed payments may result in immediate suspension of logo usage rights until payment is received.
1.6 Subscribers may cancel their direct debit at any time through their bank or payment provider, however no refunds will be made for any payments taken prior to the date of cancellation, and all logo and award image usage rights will terminate immediately upon cancellation.
2.1 Only products that have been independently reviewed by Trusted Products are eligible for award badges.
2.2 Products must maintain active reviews on the Trusted Products platform to qualify for logo usage.
2.3 Award tier (Gold, Silver, or Bronze) is determined solely by verified customer review scores on www.trustedproducts.uk.
2.4 Trusted Products reserves the right to verify all reviews and remove fraudulent or manipulated reviews at any time.
2.5 Businesses may not incentivize, solicit, or manipulate reviews in any way that violates Trusted Products' review policies.
3.1 Subscribers are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Trusted Products logos and award badges during active subscription.
3.2 Logos may only be used in connection with products that have been reviewed and awarded the corresponding tier.
3.3 Logos must be displayed in their original form without modification, distortion, or alteration of colours, proportions, or design elements.
3.4 Logos must not be used in a manner that implies endorsement of the company as a whole, only of specifically reviewed products.
3.5 A minimum clear space equivalent to 10% of the logo width must be maintained around all logos.
3.6 Logos may be used on: product packaging, websites, social media, email marketing, print advertisements, and point-of-sale materials.
3.7 Logos may not be used on products or materials that are illegal, defamatory, obscene, or that violate any applicable laws or regulations.
4.1 Award tiers are subject to change based on ongoing review performance and updated average scores.
4.2 If a product's review score drops below the threshold for its current award tier, the subscriber must cease using that tier's badge within 14 days and update to the appropriate tier or remove the badge entirely.
4.3 Trusted Products will notify subscribers of tier changes via email to the registered account address.
4.4 Subscribers are responsible for monitoring their product review scores and ensuring correct badge usage.
5.1 Subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time with 30 days' written notice.
5.2 Upon cancellation or non-payment, all rights to use Trusted Products logos and award badges terminate immediately.
5.3 Subscribers must remove all Trusted Products logos from all materials, digital platforms, and products within 30 days of subscription termination.
5.4 Trusted Products reserves the right to terminate any subscription immediately for breach of these terms and conditions.
5.5 Grounds for immediate termination include but are not limited to: review manipulation, fraudulent activity, misuse of logos, or bringing Trusted Products into disrepute.
6.1 All Trusted Products logos, award badges, and associated intellectual property remain the exclusive property of Trusted Products.
6.2 No ownership rights are transferred to subscribers under this Scheme.
6.3 Subscribers may not register or attempt to register any trademarks, domain names, or other intellectual property that incorporates Trusted Products branding.
6.4 Any goodwill generated through use of Trusted Products logos inures solely to the benefit of Trusted Products.
7.1 Trusted Products reserves the right to monitor and audit subscriber usage of logos and award badges.
7.2 Subscribers must provide evidence of logo usage upon request by Trusted Products.
7.3 Misuse of logos may result in immediate termination without refund.
7.4 Subscribers must comply with all applicable advertising standards, consumer protection laws, and industry regulations when using Trusted Products logos.
8.1 Trusted Products makes no warranties or guarantees regarding increased sales, traffic, or business performance resulting from Scheme participation.
8.2 Trusted Products shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from participation in the Scheme.
8.3 Subscribers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trusted Products from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from subscriber's misuse of logos or breach of these terms.
9.1 Subscriber information will be processed in accordance with Trusted Products' Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
9.2 Trusted Products may use subscriber names and logos as examples of Scheme participants in marketing materials unless the subscriber opts out in writing.
10.1 These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the subscriber and Trusted Products regarding the Scheme.
10.2 Trusted Products reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time by updating this page on the website.
10.3 Continued subscription after changes are published constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
10.4 If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
10.5 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
10.6 Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
