What is it?

MER 'Multi-Surface Interior Cleaner'has an advanced, quick drying and de-odourising citrus fragrance formulation, using MER's 'Auto Shine Technologie'to provide a deep clean and remove annoying stains including grease and chocolate.

How we Tested it?

We used the interior cleaner on a variety of surfaces such as textured and untextured interior plastics, instrument surrounds and we even tested it on upholstery and leather. We looked for general effectiveness of the cleaner, the finish left behind, smell and ease of use.

We Liked:

• Smells great. A nice subtle smell that leaves the interior smelling fresh and clean and not too overpowering at all.
• Combined with just a soft microfiber we found the product highly effective on most soiling.
• We didn't find the product left any residue on surfaces, even when used on usually temperamental smooth plastics around instrument areas.
• Quick and easy to use. No prep or mixing required.
• Good value compared to similar ready to use products.

We Didn't Like

• Whilst ready to use is nice, if used regularly it works out expensive compared to rival interior cleaners which are available in concentrates. I guess it depends on how often you will be using it.

Overall:

A product that really is hard to fault as does all it is asked to and well. For lightly soiled interior it is ideal in ready to use form as a quick spritz and wipe with a soft cloth will soon have your interior looking and smelling fresh. We also found this product really left surfaces feeling clean and ready for any dressings you may follow with. We wouldn't depend on the product as on particularly tough soiling, stronger concentrates may be the better go to product for effectiveness and value but as a easy to use product and for well-maintained interiors this is excellent.
