What is it?

Taken from the Power Maxed website description of the product:

Power Maxed concentrated Snow Foam cleans and degreases in one operation dispersing oil, grease and general grime with ease.

This Snow Foam is designed to create a blanket of foam when used through a foam lance. It is completely safe on all paint, and does not strip wax.

The advantage of foam is that it can be applied to the vehicle and left to dwell for a prolonged cleaning effect. Dirt and grime is encapsulated and removed reducing the need for contact washing.

Designed as a professional specialist thixotropic liquid based mild detergent with automated foam boosters.

How we tested it?

We have been testing a range of Power Maxed products over recent weeks and have used at least 10 Litres of their snow foam now. As with all snow foams on test it has been used on a variety of vehicle types and levels of soiling, observing dwell time, smell, economy and cleaning ability.

We Liked:

• Fantastic value and economy. Can be diluted 33:1 in the snow foam lance offering real value for money.
• Smells great. A nice subtle smell to it that is not too overpowering but makes the product enjoyable to use.
• Shorter work time than other products but not to the detriment of cleaning ability.
• Made a noticeable difference to heavier soiling and ease of cleaning after foam.

We didn't Like:

• Not the thickest of snow foams, in fact it's quite thin on application and runs off quickly. You do question if it could have greater effect with longer dwell time.
• Not currently an offering under 5 Litres.

Overall:

Another highly commendable entry from the guys at Power Maxed. The strong dilution and performance of the product certainly make it one to consider when choosing your pre wash. Some people won't like how thin the foam is compared to rivals but once you realise that it still performs well and actually has a shorter working time as a result this isn't necessarily an issue. Great smell, great value, great product. Needs more variety in quantities for the consumer.
